I am scared for this coming series. The Royals embarrassed us in the regular season.

Regular season has nothing to do with play-offs. The odds favor the Giants even though I am sure every bet is on the Royals to beat us. People underestimate the Giants and yet they have won for two even years, 2010 and 2012 and this year 2014 may not be different. The nationals with the best record in the National league during the regular season as well as 5 out of 7 head to head over Giants in the regular season. What happened? The Royals swept us 3-0 in regular season but as far as we know, the regular season is meaningless. Time will tell.

It's more about how KC is constructed: speed, defense, shut down bullpen. I think they are more dangerous than Detroit in 2012 or Texas in 2010.

Who would have thought that just 3 years into the WC-round era we would have a WC vs WC World Series? I certainly thought that it would take a LOT longer for this to happen.
