thought they said Coldhands wouldn't make this season

God I hope not. Coldhands kills the mutineers in the book and when that one balding guy went to feed Ghost in the show it sounded like a bunch of crows were coming his way. All that lead me to believe Coldhands would show up next week but if they already said he wouldn't make it this season then IDK.

It's minor. Pod followed secretly followed Brienne for a bit before she figured it out.

Yeah that's what I was referring to. I liked how Jaime hooked them up, with Bronn at the scene as well. In the books Brienne notices someone following her for some time but they don't tell us it's Pod. Wouldn't really work the same on TV unless they somehow avoided showing his face. I think this way works much better for TV.

I don't remember that. In fact, I've been wondering what happened to them and figured the story just left us. Do you recall the chapter and who's POV it was?

It was in a Dance With Dragons and likely a Bran POV. I don't recall too many specifics, just that he kills some men from the Night's Watch. I didn't put it together that they were the guys at Craster's Keep until i read this:

This makes the most sense to me, but the Children of the Forest mention that Coldhands was killed a long time ago which leads me to believe it's somebody else.

Seems like it's now official that Coldhands got cut out of the show.

I didn't mind it. For a moment I thought they were going to take care of Lysa all in 1 episode. Not sure how that would have worked without Marillion there. I hope he doesn't get cut but we've yet to see him. I think there might have been a brief appearance by an unnamed musician with no lines in season 1 when they were escorting Tyrion to the Eyrie but that's about it.

Never noticed before last night that Theon's sister has a different name on the show than in the books. I'm guessing it's because in the books it's too close to "Osha".

I'm really loving the way Prince Oberyn is portrayed on the show. It's too bad he's only got a couple episodes left. I imagine he'll be great in those episodes and that his eventual death will be awesome! I know the show has been deviating from the books but I can't imagine there'll be much change as far as his storyline goes.

Oberyn was one of my fav characters this season. Brilliant job with the casting. He knocked it out of the park. I think everyone likes how he's the only one who has the balls to trash talk the Lannisters to their faces in Kings Landing and remind them how full of shit they all are.

He knows they ordered the deaths of those family members of his. He's gotten to the age where he will do what it takes to damage their legacy, even if it costs him his life. That's honor.
