I hope Len returns soon and gets some heavy minutes. I want him to get a chance to prove himself.

The lakers broadcast blows balls! A real solid 5-10 miles out of the northwest straight to the nutsuck! Jahii knows what I mean.

Go on...tell us what you think nogi!

I think giving away the prospects that you have salivated over for the past few years for a hitter that has below a .300 OBP and is awful defensively is a pathetic move
So much for fucking grit.

Why? We basically traded a rental player back to the angels for a better hitter than eaton would have ever become. I wish we would have trade pollack but the projected prospects are some nice trade bait as well. We just hosed the angels again! Skaggs had his opportunity and could never get it together in arizona.

Grit is gone, nogi my friend! This is the dawn of the long ball! Free swingers will rule chase field in the upcoming future! I do agree about the OBP though, that is one ugly statistic! Hopefully it was a result of watching pujols and Hamilton hit!

not crazy about the trade

but to play devils advocate

I heard not many players in clubhouse like Eaton. Radio shows suggested Eaton was a bit like Bauer, felt entitled. Clubhouse improvement with him gone

Eaton can hit when hes right, but looks like organization believes Pollock is the better player right now. Eaton, also doesn't walk

As for Skaggs, bottom line is the velocity concerns at such a young age. Hes like a slightly harder throwing Jamie Moyer right now without the control. When your FB only hits 88, and you can't control your curveball, your gonna get killed. What if Skaggs has same kinda 2014??? Then, not only are you stuck with those results, his trade value probably plummets to the point where you get pretty much nothing in return for him

Corbin is good, Miley is good. Still have Cahill, McCarthy, and Delgado. And possibly the real gem in Archie Bradley sometime next summer. Skaggs, kinda expendable. Bradley probably takes Delgado's spot in rotation because McCarthy is being paid a lot in 2014.

I honestly don't understand why Eaton was rated so highly in the Dbacks organization. He'll be marginally better than Pollock when all is said and done.

He was on fire when he first came everyone expected him to be a 290 hitter.

I don't feel comfortable with Pollock being an everyday CF. Love his defense and speed on the base paths but he's done nothing to show me that he can play in 150 games per year.

We need pitching more than anything. If Bradley doesn't break out next year then we're fucked.

Addition by subtract...that always works out for towers! Lol.
