Lions are in for a longggggg season. Said the same thing last year after the titans game. Even if they win this game it should be clear to everyone how teams can once again score at will against them.

I hate that rule.....once he broke the goaline...it should of been 6....but i understand the call....just doesnt seem right since a ball carrier can break the plain and fumble and its no fumble.

Same exact play by Denario Alexander of the Chargers last year. He was falling when he made the catch but it was ruled a TD because they considered reaching across the goaline with the ball to be a football move. Same damn thing Calvin did.

that is exactly what i just said -- why is it a TD immediately for a RB when they break the plane of the goal line, but a WR who catches and dives into the end zone has to keep control of the ball all the way to the ground?

Because the RB has already established possession and control of the ball. A WR has to go to the ground with the ball if he's falling while catching to establish possession.

The lions never capitalize on other teams mistakes
The lions are always good for penalties at the most inopportune moments.
The lions drop too many passes and miss too many tackles.
The lions are the most undisciplined team in the nfl.
The lions at least once a season have a td reversed by the refs.
The lions allow at least one 40 plus yard td a game.
Ahhh, so frustrating.

I'm not upset -- the defense has looked good, other than the big run. the offense has been moving the ball, but continue to shoot themselves in the foot with dropped passes and dumb penalties.

Those things are correctable. I still think Detroit is more talented than Minny. They just need to put an end to the dumb shit and they could easily win this game.
