there are a lot of children on these forums. I guess that this best the SEC fan base has to offer. Most of the adults are in line waiting to apply for next months food stamps.

I agree it is very lame but it is still a rule. He broke that rule and got 1/2 a game? interesting...Yeah, he violated what is possibly the lamest NCAA rule of all: He didn't protect his own image from being sold!! I wonder what would have happened if he told A&M that they couldn't charge those boosters $20,000 to sit at his table because he was "protecting his image"!!

Actually the NCAA makes next to nothign on college football. They make their money off college basketball. There are regulations in place. Whether people agree with them are hardly the pt. I was simply commenting that fans tend to get great joy when they beat the system. Those same fans will bitch that Bama or some other school are cheaters. In a perfect world fans would hold their own schools to the same standards they apply to others. If that happened, there would be not be a need to for the NCAA.

I never said the NCAA was capable of creating an effective judicial unit. I simply said I do not understand reveling intheir incompetence. The money is not really the point. The point is the hypocrisy and the arrogance.
The joy is because the NCAA is so hypocritical.
Manziel is suspended because he signed too many autographs? And that is just the latest of the asinine decisions coming from this buffoonery.
And a lot of things would happen in a perfect world but this is not but if the NCAA is going to be the regulating governance at least the NCAA could rule with consistency and logic.
And I think that a tOSU fan bitching about fans holding their schools to the same standard as ohters is even funnier than considering the NCAA capable of creating an "order of law"
where did you copy and paste that from to get that jacked up font and sizing? My guess is you have had this stupid argument so many times it is permanently burned onto your clipboard
It was just funny. He was paid but there was no money trail. If he can "claim" he got no money and is just a super nice guy to go to a hotel room and sigh all things multiple times then why not say I didn't know he was going to profit from this. Both of these are unbelievable but with no proof...well, he did take the step of trademarking his name which forced dealers and people to stop using his name or likeness...which is what some point to as the reason a few dealers got pissed and stirred all this up. So there was some action he can point to in order to say he took steps necessary. Maybe that is why the punishment is so low?
ignorant much? As someone who knows, and I do, you have to have credit to BUY a car. You can go and get one at lot with proof of income, but you are not buying the vehicle. They keep title until you pay off the loan.

it is not a "but" it is a "fact". You can't deny that Texas was within 3 points of your so called National Championship team with2:57 left in the game and possession of the ball. Texas was within 3 point withless than 3 minutes left in the game while having to play a QB who was a true freshman and had turned the ball over 3 times up to that point and you believe Colts presence would not have change a thing?
So to say that had one of the best QB to ever play CFB for Texas in that game instead of the true freshman would not have impacted the outcome wreaks ofignorance and immaturity.
PS-I live in Tennessee, work with, have worked for, and have multiple clients who are from Alabama. Alabama breeds the most intellectually challenged human beings in the history of man. I believe they teach paint chipping eatingin the first grade. And it would be one thing if these people where just retarded, but they are also vile, hateful and by far the most selfish group ofAmericans.
I couldn't read any more after I read that B.S. A freak his is a beat down?First off, being that Colt didnt play the majority of the game it is as simple to say that you dont have a clue if he would have made a difference either. Colt clearly got what the sportscasters had mentioned leading up to the game, a beatdown at the hands of the most physical defense in the nation. They dont play pussy ball in the SEC, they play smash mouth football and Colt found that out.
Secondly we have game proof to see that Saban went conservative on play calling and defensive rotations to lessen the damage that would be done to that joke of a team they played, he simply didnt want to embarrass Mack Brown, count yourself lucky he respects the man.
Now I would count this as third but I am not sure a you can count that high. Its apparent by your jab at Alabama fans in general that you are butthurt and definitely mad that you lost, but take solace in the fact that everyone else that faced Alabama that year did also, so you just got to be the last team to get a beatdown by the best team in the country that year.
And we all know that making fun of a group of people means you have no good argument, which rendered your entire diatribe useless once you starting verbally attacking the fans of Alabama on a personal level.
