You know those commercials that say "we didn't invent the ____, we made the _____ go faster" or a variety thereof? I saw a commercial that said "Dulcolax doesn't make you go, it just makes it easier to go." I get that it's trying to distinguish itself from being a laxative that makes you rush to the bathroom, but it sounded a bit like the above example in a weird way.

Lol.

Thanks for revealing what's in your medicine cabinet.

Ah, I don't live in California and don't listen to radio much, so I didn't give them much chance for exposure to me. Internet is so difficult to interpret things, I hope I didn't insult you.

Radio has been a big part of my life for the past 14 years or so.

I started with listening to hours of FM, especially at night and late night.

Now it's sports stations.

I sleep with the radio on (set to sleep mode). I flip between sports stations when I'm sleeping, unless they're talking about football too much, then I'll go to music.

Also, I stream sports radio during most weekdays. I can have up to 3-4 streams at once (3 sports, 1 music). And I just flip between them, until I find a topic I like.

LOL, for some reason when I read this, I thought, "wow, Nuraman really is a robot... he can listen to 3-4 streams at once! No wonder why he knows everything about basketball."

And no, I don't have laxatives in my medicine cabinet, only viagra and propecia. ;)

Ok, I don't see that emoticon in the available list. I see it as a "post icon", but not something that can be inserted into a post.

You must have manually typed the symbols that produce that emoticon. (semicolon-close parenthesis).

So the OP doesn't even post in the game thread, and it's 2 days later.

Hmmph!

He was probably too busy wearing his ALEX SMITH Halloween costume, complete with game-used underwear and socks. And JOHN STOCKTON shorts.

My fault for the two days thing, I went to see my grandfather at the time of the game. Then, I got busy twiddling my thumbs and brushing my teeth. My underwear was my own, but the socks were USC socks, my hat was Utah Utes, my jersey was Alex Smith, and my shorts was John Stockton's long shorts (modern). Just kidding, I had a tuxedo t-shirt, my wife was a pumpkin, and my daughter was an elephant.

I started watching Roseanne a few years ago. I liked it.

At some point I want to watch the series in order. (I've only seen 20-30 random episodes).

Not seeing his Roseanne Bar for President title, this confused the hell out of me. I knew you didn't post on other Sports SportsHoopla sites so I thought, this couldn't just be the wrong thread.

Congrats, sounds like a fun Halloween. Did you go trick-or-treating around town, or to a Halloween Party?

I guess this can be considered a costume, right?

I'm relieved that you practice good dental hygiene.

We hosted a party one day and went to my grandpa's another day. That costume is similar to what I wore. My wife doesn't want to dress up much until my daughter is older. She wore an orange shirt with a pumpkin smile.

I know, it is a relief. It definitely was in question until I self-reported my hygiene habits. Sometimes, you can just tell when a poster never brushes his teeth. ;)

How old is your daughter now? 1.5 years?

Did you have a good time both days, or were there some mishaps?

I just read your email. I had it routed to a specific folder in my inbox because your other emails were getting lost among the hundreds of junk mail I get. But then I forgot to check the folder, so my fault.

I have been a SF Giants fan since Alex Smith went to the Niners because I'm a loyal guy. I don't like liking one team from one side of the country and another from the other side of the country. I had already been a fan of the Niners before Smith, so that convinced me to stay "local". I was going to be a Niner fan for the long run anyway. I liked Bonds because everyone hated him but that was so casual of a fan that it didn't count. Otherwise, I would have likely been a St. Louis fan because of McGwire or Oakland because of Moneyball or Dodgers/Angels because I lived in Los Angeles or Atlanta because I went there for a conference in high school.

Yeah, my daughter just turned a year and a half. The two days were fine and fun. No stories, really.

Cool.

If you start a GT and don't post in it for 2 days next time, that's a felony. Maybe then it will be you who has to wear the elephant costume. ;)

I'll send you some recaps on some games I went to, as well as my parade recap (when I make it). Alex Smith was at the parade. Did you know he was going to be there? Did you think that might happen?

I have to hand it to you. That's the type of creative explanation a lawyer can come up with. ;) J/K.

That's a more creative excuse that what scrantonicity33 would come up with. A few years ago, he would repeatedly say his daughter (who was a baby) was playing with his phone and deleted my emails.

What type of law do you practice again?

I was going to tell you that I was too busy suing my daughter for stealing my computer and deleting important messages, but I knew you'd sniff that one out. Can't gauge what you really think just from a message, but I really did not see your email until you pointed it out. I can make creative excuses, but I pick my battles - if the truth can release you, why make things up? (Not saying that I am released, just speaking in hypotheticals.)

I'm still looking for a job but I am thinking about working on someone's will and in a separate matter, selling someone's house to their grown up child. Obviously can't get into details and I haven't worked on it yet. I want to go into business law, it's busy and less likely to hurt people like family law is where divorced couples hurt their kids. Business law can have family law elements if owned by a family, but that to me is much removed from custody battles. I'm willing to do anything but divorces when children are involved, unless I get desparate. I don't have any divorces in my family, but I still don't think I can argue one parent gets the kid and the other has to beg for visitation and pay. I think the man gets screwed but the woman can be deserving, so I let others battle that out. There are open and shut cases where one parent is clearly awful, but I couldn't depend on that, especially when both sides have strong incentive to lie and exaggerate. Wills, I understand is also dicey, but I'm thinking about making an exception, if I can figure out what the person really wants.

Yeah I was just kidding. Plus I knew you'd have a funny post in response, so I wanted to keep this going.

Would these be some of the first things you've worked on? Or have you done some side stuff like this before?

Congrats.

Agree, family law can get ugly. Especially with all of the arguing and mudslinging that can go on. It would be tough to have to go to work to see people fighting often (while trying to resolve the conflicts).

How do you think the NBA player divorce rate compares to the average U.S. American?

I worked at a Business Law firm when I was in law school. I haven't done any wills or real estate contracts before, so that's why I'm not doing it, just considering it. I want to be in a firm so I can bounce some ideas off some people there before I commit or reject it.

Have no idea, depends if it is before or after the player is done being proffitable, for gold-digging purposes. You never want to leave until the squeeze everything you can from the player. Get accustomed to a bunch of stuff. Sometimes a player will slip up and r*pe someone or knock someone up or crash into a tree, in which that will speed things up, but traditionally, you hold on until retirement.
