I saw that on the Seahawks board. I wasn't sure her being a former Skins cheerleader was a plus or a minis all things considered.

Another Seahawks poster mentioned how Macdonald might not even have to move residences.

Honestly, this is not the job we think it is. The stadium is falling apart. The facilities are ancient. The fanbase is gone for the most part.

If Harris and Peters can pull of Macdonald, I'll be impressed.

I thought Ben was a done deal, and it appears the Skins did too. I'm feels like we're getting Quinn.

I think peters might be conflicted on MacDonald and not sure what he wants.

I have read several reports that peters was surprised by Johnson's withdrawal.
Appears they zeroed in on him. That is fine, but we can't get beat twice and have MacDonald slip through because we were not prepared.

I said this several times, i feel bad for peters because he is being asked to do so much so quickly.

Again, to me, Quinn would represent a strike out on at least 2 candidates in my opinion.

Quite frankly, I am shocked word hasn't been linked of an offer to MacDonald unless, Quinn is the main target.

Seems that peters might be stunned from yesterday possibly??

Maybe MacDonald and Johnson just didn't want this job.

Johnson might think to himself, "I could have the Cowboys job next year." Who knows?

Very valid points.

We might have overhyped the job a little as well as a fanbase. I believe I did.

Not everyone is interested in coaching an expansion team.
That is why I am shocked Quinn would want this job at all. He is smart and should be fully aware that he is starting with little to nothing.

You would think that would be a turnoff for a former head coach and more appealing to a 1st time HC right?

If the 1st choice was Quinn the deal would be done already. Looks like they want Mcdonald and to interview Glenn, If McDonald says no, I would be surprised if Glenn gets it over Quinn. Looks like there was no clear 2nd choice b/c of Johnson going back to the Lions.

Cannot say I like the "search" for a HC by Peters.

Other teams have much better stadiums and practice facilities.

2nd round pick is a prospect, not a guarantee.

Looks like the Skins swung and missed on 2 of the best choices. With these issues--the star OCs suddenly staying--I have to wonder if they should open a new barrel and interview Vrabel or Belicheater. One way or the other, they're gonna have to hurry b/c the market for coordinators and assistants is getting thin.

I am a guy in favor of Quinn or Vrabel, depending on his OC choice.
Is EB really an option for ya'll?
I am strangely wavering on Belicheater. I'd take him as HC any day. But Im not going to let him be GM. If he can't handle that, he'll be unemployed for a while.

If Macdonald takes the Seattle job, then it would be 2 swings and misses. Not a good look.

Reports are saying that Slowik withdrew after Johnson did. In other words, we didn't turn down Slowik, he said " no thanks" to any additional consideration.

So:
Johnson declined an interview in mid flight
Slowik withdrew
Macdonald will either take the Seattle or WSH job. My limited understanding is that we have only had 1 interview with Macdonald and Seattle has his 2nd one today.

Not sure I saw any of that happening.
Hoping Peters has a plan that involves a rabbit coming out of a hat...lol
