Def not saying these guys are all innocent, but I'm always confused when the victims immediately agree to cash settlements. I would think of you were truly wronged and were seeking justice, you'd be all for arrests and trial's, your going to get paid regardless. This sounds like a Canada trying to unstain it's reputation thingy to me.
This is the part that gets me, "London police closed the case in 2018, then re-opened it in 2022 in response to public outrage following a lawsuit." So in 2018, the police closed the case without charges. After the public outrage (where they don't know all of the facts the police had), there are now going to be charges. Did the police miss something the first time around, is there new evidence, new witnesses, or is it a different conclusion on the same evidence?

I'd have to see what all the case involves, I doubt very seriously he's played his last game. I'm thinking it's a money thing and will be settled elsewhere.
Hockey Canada already paid her $3.5MM

“Public Outrage” over Hockey Canada paying off the victim resulted in the Mounties re-opening the case and its entering their version of a federal sexual assault case.

These are united states corporate assets. Hart is owned by the flyers. If Canada wants to fuck him the United States military should protect him from them. Fuck canada.

Its the age we live in now. You can accuse anyone of anything and its guilty until proven innocent.

Where is the outrage over accepting the 3.5 million?

Yea I get that, but if you agree to a settlement in a case, then it's considered closed, IMO. Like I said earlier, she had plenty of chances to deny the money and get litigation she choose to accept all outcomes. Also is it hey I don't know which guys it was thing or was she able to identify all parties?

Not sure, I'd love to be able to read the agreement they came to, where evidently, she was paid and the case was closed. I wouldn't think they would of closed the case if they had evidence to convict.

The settlement was with Hockey Canada. Seems like she is putting some pressure on individuals to get some more $$$. Two of the five have been making over $2,000.000/year.

When we get waxxed by the Bruins tomorrow that'll be all she wrote on this one.

What a difference two weeks makes.

Guess I'll wait for the Russian even though the odds are we never see him here.

This team needs a rest. We play an very taxing style of hockey and everyone just looks beat right now. The all star break couldn't have come at a better time. We will resume having a solid season in the second half.

Hopefully you're correct. The hustle for loose pucks and beating the opponent to the play just aren't happening right now.
