Texas Rangers 2022 - 2023 Offseason Thread

One thing that comes to mind. We lost way too many one run games. At this point the addition of better pitching will cut that number and if we add one good bat and a closer then we will be much better 2023. Next year we should be serious contenders with one or two more pieces added.

They see OF holes. Not too big on Jung. Think Lowe was a fluke. They like Heim. Not too big on Adolis. Love our SP. Projected Corey low on HRs. Look at Foscue

Pretty obvious that to do better we need another OF but a 3 Year contract makes no sense

They see us contending for a WC spot but surely not as a serious contender as oppose to Seattle

No mention of Duran He may be the surprise of the year

Yes, we have too many holes to fill to sign one mediocre leftfielder, and miss the chance to see what we already have.

We must likely are a year or so away from having prospect OF knocking on the door. We have guys to look at this year before Evan Carter and company are ready. We may find a good player or two by doing so. Actually. I expect we will.

The "grass is greener" contingent of Rangers fans have certainly been very local all over the internets.

As poorly as Semien and Seager hit for a large portion of last year, our offense will improve significantly if those two simply hit like everyone thought they would. And we will have a more experienced Josh Jung all year.

Maybe the rangers get Joe’s brother Jake from the Diamondbacks. Would surely cost a lot less than Reynolds

Maybe as an add on for a trade. I would keep my bags packed if I were him. And longing for spring training to come

Good point.. maybe Smith will come into his own next year. He hit well in the minors, it’s normal to struggle first year in the bigs.
He maybe take off next year.

That is a good core offensive group. Garver and Huff might be included depending CY decisions. One or two improvements from inside or maybe a trade will push this team to a winner.
