Please tell me the specifics...voluntary otas sure but mandatory training camp?in short, they get away with it because they're union members - what they're allowed to "get away with" is negotiated as part of the CBA.
If you had skills that less than 1% of Americans you could do the same. How long do you think they will still pay me?

They absolutely do have sick days. You don't think when guys are ruled out for games or even practices that they still get paid? And as far as vacation days go they often get most of the bye week off and Romo sure did seem to enjoy his Cabo trip...They do get paid off game checks.
And don’t have vacation or sick days.
And their job security is based 100% off talent. Yours isn’t.
If you ever want to know your worth, quickly. Blow off whoever is paying you, see what happens.

Trust me, if you are replaceable you will be replaced. The more replaceable you are, the quicker it will happen. Watch how quickly a 3rd stringer gets replaced if they do that. That's right, you won't see it, because they know, just like you, they are easily replaceable. How long do you think they will still pay me?

Are we really talking about NFL players having too many rights? The most violent league with the fewest guaranteed contracts.
does not matter, they want to be role models, then start showing how to live up to your word. These guys want the guaranteed money in case they get hurt so they continue to get paid when the are not working.
