same here i don't know how they determine when someone is ready but it's pretty obvious that most of those i've mentioned dumping aren't ready for the biggies

possibly with Castellanos and Suzuki. not sure that Rodon would be a long run better solution than Gray. not ready to give up on Semien based on his track record but i would have never signed Culberson and Miller

I wonder sometimes if they keep track of success vs a good pitcher. A bad pitcher in AAA with a low k/9 and slightly lower velocity is light years worse than an avg pitcher in the MLB with a higher k/9 and 94 mph
So if Taveras is absolutely crushing it vs the crappy pitchers but sucking vs the good pitchers he may not be ready.
I’m hoping he’s ready though, I’ve been rooting for him for awhile and have always thought he would be a breakout player

my gut tells me that those 3 would do better that this damn rotation of Calhoun, Miller, Sloak, Reks and White has produced and i would fill more comfortable with Garcia in RF.

Tavares in CF and Garcia in right give us a pretty good upgrade defensively.

What I heard was they want to be extra sure with Tavares so once he is brought up he never has to go back down. I surely hope they are not holding on to him for Calhoun sake
