Michigan didn't even prepare from this game from the looks of it. But no B1G team this year had an O-line prepped for Bama or UGA's d-lines except maybe yours. And you guys don't have athletes at the skill positions to keep up anyways along with a terrible QB. I don't want to hear "but OSU" because if we dominated both of their lines, Willie Anderson and Jordan Davis would have gotten 10 sacks apiece against theirs. Maybe soon with NIL but I dunno.Roids, no. Corn fed, definitely. Problem is, they made Michigan look better than what they are. Badgers sucked this year but the tragedy is allowing a team that has no business playing for a national championship. Need to have an expanded playoff so hopefully we don’t see this embarrassing as shit again.
I mean it's no secret. Those have been the two best recruiting programs the last 5 years. OSU is close but they don't develop or recruit all positions evenly like these two programs, just skill positions.SEC fans are going to be fucking insufferable after this. The two best teams will play for it, but the band wagonning from the other teams that kind of sucked or at least didn't do anything great will be awful.
I hate that I'm pulling for a USC comeback just because they're the team outside of Clemson that might be able to intrude.I mean it's no secret. For not watching the game, I'm in a pretty good mood not getting high blood pressure yelling at the TV. I don't mind a good running game, but I'm no fan of the "pound the rock" mentality. More often than not it becomes one dimensional. It might be a good thing that I have to work while the game is being played.
How do you not prepare? Again, the system in place that determines who gets in and who doesn’t is flawed beyond comprehension. Why? Because biased human beings decide who should be in the top 4. An expanded playoff system will help take the human aspect out of it to a degree. Personally, we will continue to see the same crap. Top recruits will always go to the same football factory schools. Dafuq you even talking aboutIt's a big enough red flag that Picket chose not to play this big bowl game. If Pitt still wins without him that is an even bigger red flag.

I get the feeling that they thought that the schemes they ran all year would work. It didn't. Also UGA definitely played outside of what they did all season. You can see they opened the playbook up, while also game planning against our edge rushers and taking them out of the game. That was honestly their best coached game of the season. I think half of this loss was on talent but the other half was just a bad gameplan. Kirby and his staff straight up outcoached Harbaugh. No excuses. How do you not prepare? It works for Bama at times because they recruit beyond anyone else. I think Harbaugh wants to do that but he's delusional at this point. He would need to outbid UGA and Bama to do it or hope those two coaches retire soon. For not watching the game, I'm in a pretty good mood not getting high blood pressure yelling at the TV. STFU, the SEC outside of the very top, usually Bama, sucks. Can't win a bowl game. Have they won any outside of the cfp? So brag about Bama all you want. The rest of the SEC is hardly special.Too many slow and untalented white boys from the Northeast on that offensive line. No B1G team has SEC line talent except for maybe Wisconsin and that's because they roid those guys up. GG
Dude, Minnesota can intrude. We have the defense, we have the offensive line and absolutely have the running backs. We had the WRs in 2019, and they may have made Tanner look good, that might be why he had a bad year this year? But he'll be back, and all of his WRs will be too, right? It might not happen soon, like next year, but no need to depend on USC.I hate that I'm pulling for a USC comeback just because they're the team outside of Clemson that might be able to intrude.
Dude, I get you, but let's be real. Minnesota is nice and can make some waves, but you'll never have the depth needed unless all of a sudden Cargill or something decides it wants to sponsor the NIL program. The 2019 receivers were the only time in Minnesota's program history that you had two receivers like that. You just lost 4 of 5 on your OL and two DE's that were invited to the Senior Bowl.Dude, Minnesota can intrude. We have the defense, we have the offensive line and absolutely have the running backs. If you ever want Minnesota to "intrude", Minnesota needs to figure out a way for CHS, UHC, Cargill, Target, Best Buy, US Bank, Wells Fargo if they still give a shit (current Wells was a takeover of the old by MN-based Norwest but moved op to SF), etc. to finance its recruitment like an advertisement.Dude, I get you, but let's be real. Minnesota has something cooking and will continue to be good, but until you can start recruiting on a different tier, Minnesota will never be more than the West team that might jump up once in a while ala Wisconsin or Iowa. If you want to change that, you need to get the University and its alumni using the NIL system to bribe 4 and 5 stars like everyone else will be doing. If Cargill or UHC or Target or whoever decides Minnesota players deserve $100K a year for advertising, you can start competing. Otherwise, no. Not close. Not even a pipe dream.
That being said, it wouldn't cost Cargill or United shit to give every kid in the program $100K a year. So maybe? If UMN can weaponize the enormous companies based in the area, they could make waves in the new environment.
And you really think the B1G is any different? We have usually 1 or 2 really good team in conference, and 12 that are mid-pack in any conference you put them in. We had our ass handed to us last night, by the second best team in that conference. I will pull for Michigan without fail, but to think the rest of the B1G is all that and a bag of chips is delusional. MSU barely beats a team playing a 3rd string qb. Hell, even Minn looked bad against a WV team that couldn’t tie their own shoelaces without a diagram in front of them. all conferences neeed a conference homer, glad you fill that voidSTFU, the SEC outside of the very top, usually Bama, sucks.
