Peyton had 7, can;t think of anyone having more than 7, not saying it hasn't happened. With Wilson it's the combination of all of it, nobody matchs his overall game.

Dude never sat the bench, he can run, like in really run, his stats on a par with anyones. and he has done things nevr done before him.
Johnny Unitas has 8 in his first 9 years, so I guess you now have him as the GOAT.

Dude, you honestly never really seem to get what is going on, it's weird.

This is a combination of things. you thought it was just pro bowls, really?

Work with me here....

Johnny U was cut by the Steelers, you can;t be cut and be THE GOAT, and he had the greatest set of weapons ever seen at that time, Lenny Moore the first great pass catching running back, Ray Berry, John Mackey the first great TE, and he had the best tackle in football protecting him....Jim Parker...everyone mentioned in the Hall of Fame.

Unitas played against white cornerbacks, far smaller and slower players back then that what we see today. Alabama would destroy any pre 1970 NFL team.

Imagine Russell Wilson with the Colts in 1966, whoa!

Going to look at the complete careers for these QB's, just curious.

pro bowls plus comp%, plus career passer rating.

Johnny Unitas 143.8
Fran Tarkenton 146.4
Bart Starr 141.9

Will chip away at this, will stay in the same era.

Tom Brady is THE GOAT right?

Let's compare his first nine seasons to Russell Wilsons

Wilson in 7 pro bowls, TB 4
Wilson 4 4000 yard seasons, TB 2
Wilson 30 td seasons...5 TB 1
Wilson six 100 passer ratings seasons, TB 1
Forget rushing for obvious reasons

Yep, all Russell Wilson, and Wilson walked right in and took over while Brady sat and watched.

Give me a QB who had a better first nine seasons than Russell Wilson, who?

This is why nobody takes you seriously. When someone points out a perceived flaw in your evaluation you simply ignore it and repeat yourself.

The 4000 yard thing is a perfect example. The 30 TDs thing is another though not as bad. Pro Bowls are also less selective than they used to be. When a guy is hurt or bails out on playing they just pick the next guy in line. It did not used to be like that in the old days.

4000 yards has not been a particularly special accomplishment since Wilson joined the league. Since 2012 an average of 10 guys have thrown for > 4000 yards every single year while Wilson has done it fewer than half of the seasons he's played. So maybe passing yards isn't the best barometer to use when promoting his greatness. I do think he's an excellent QB fwiw.

Keep in mind this is just about those first nine seasons.

4000 yard seasons those first nine

Peyton....6
Wilson, Rodgers, Brees, all with 4
Favre, 3
Brady and Big Ben 2

So what is the problem?

You. No one has more ProBowl in 9 years.

Me. Johnny Unitas has 8 in 9 years.

You. That doesn’t count.

You just might be the moron of all morons.

What is your point?

Mine point is that 4000 yards is not the benchmark that it once was. It is not as noteworthy and has been basically a meaningless threshold since Wilson joined the league.

How big of a deal is 4000 passing yards when roughly 10 guys do it every season?

Johnny U was a pro bowler 8 of his first 9 seasons in the league. And Wilson's had a helluva career. Whenever his playing days are over his next stop will be the HOF.

Wilson was only a pro-bowl starter once.

Peyton started four times in his first nine years.

That's the difference. Wilson is consistently an A- student.

Wilson's had a damn good career. But he's not on Manning's tier. To suggest otherwise is kinda silly. Not saying you've done that.

and again you addressed neither of my questions.

Since when is being #10 out of 32 a mark of greatness? Even grading on a curve that's about a B-

Who said anything about greatness? So we just ignore passing yards? Really?
