In a backwards way if this doesn't blow up to rough this benefits the Texans. No team will want to trade for a player with 6 pending cases or at least try to low ball a good deal for him. If this is something where Watson will need to pay off accusers it would be in his best interest in coming to camp to play and collect checks.

Some seem focused on the lawyer, saying that he is this slezzy con artist ....do lawyers come any other way?

The integrity of the alleged victims is all that matters ...and now that it's being reported there could be up to 6 alleged victims.
The credibility factor of the alleged incidents grows when you have a group of people all telling the same story.

Any potential trade deals for Watson are dead. He now officially has a considerable amount of baggage. And nobody is going to pay a kings ransom for that baggage.

Watson wasn't wanted by most teams anyway. Not many owners out there want a an uneduated football player making personnel decision on his $3.5B team. Play football and SYFM. Owner will sign the check, doesn't need your permission to hire a Gatorade carrier.

I don't know, that is a good question. We all know the policy is kind of controversial, but I think you would at least need to be arrested or something. It can't just be someone filing a civil lawsuit against you and not pressing criminal charges, I would think.

And...there is now a third case. Credit to Buzbee I guess for rolling this out in the most devastating way possible in terms of negative media. I still don't know that I believe it, but it is turning into a serious issue for Watson.

I wonder if its a power thing because obviously Watson could go to a night club in Houston and come home with a girl so quick and he knows it but I think there is a level of wanting women who are not groupies who do not want to take their pants off whenever they blink. If Watson approached a women who has no idea who the Houston Texans are and could care less of who he is this could turn into a harassment case.

On the surface level the first lawsuit I am assuming Watson was in a work space and things sideways but the second one with the girl being flown out is BS to me. Let me get this straight Watson flew you out to Houston, paid your flight and hotel for a one on one massage? Give me a break.

He can't play for the new team until he comes off suspension from the NFL. A very good chance that suspension is coming.
