I am getting it for the performance. I like to game competetively i have 2 One x's right now (just got one for the wife so she no longer has an og xbox one) the 120 FPS at 1080 will be awesome i dont even care about 4-8k (though if it can have zero frame rate lag at 4k and still have 120FPS on all titles ill likely enable 4k on it, if not ill run it at 1080 for the higher frame rate and no lag)I always reset my expectations at the end of every gen.
Hellblade II is not a game that will get me to buy a system, though. DmC was alright and I haven't gotten around to playing Enslaved or Hellblade.
Right now Xbox One X is the best console you can buy (objectively speaking about performance) Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is the best gaming subscription you can buy (15 a month) for a library of games plus xbox live gold.So if I have a Xbox 360 currently what do I upgrade to? Granted, I don’t play a lot and want a good deal
I have always enjoyed the QOL stuff on Xbox vs the Playstation. That and the Xbox is more locked down so less likely to encounter any hacks (modded controllers performing macros is about as close as you get to cheating/hacking)This last release of new gen consoles I went with PS4 after the last few releases going with XBOX with XBOX and XBOX 360. I mainly went with PS4 because it had a baseball game, but this go around I think I will go back to Xbox. Really not sure why, PlayStation is a fine system, I just hardly ever use it.

QOL?
Quality of Life.
PS4 menu, store, etc is pretty awful and PS+ is a waste. Sony lives and dies by the quality of their games. Their wall of exclusives really controlled this gen but next gen is up for grabs.
