Nick Calathes will be the PG (backed up by Vangellis Manjaris), SG will be handled by Kostas Sloukas (backed up by Yiannis Athinaiou), Costas Papanikolaou will start at SF (backed up by Thanassis Antetokounpo and Yiannis Papapetrou), Giannis will start at PF (backed up by Costas Rrintezis) and Yiannis Bourousis will start at CF (backed up by Kostas Koufos and Yiannis Papagiannis)...

I'm sure Giannis will get the ball at the top of the key, lower his head, dribble into a double-team, and then throw an off the mark pass forcing Greece to reset if it isn't in the 2nd row.

I love Giannis but he got exposed this series. Great players don't play heads down like he was during the Raptors series.

Yeah he's still not at his ceiling, one would hope. Lots more needed to be legit best player in the league. Probably still win MVP, a regular season award

FIBA World cup is different basketball tactics than the NBA, some of the best coaches in the World will be there. Serbia will have the by far best coach in the world (Obradovic) and then all Slovenia, Croatia, Greece, Italy (if they have Messina) and Turkey will have coaches that have been mentored by Jeljko Obradovic...

In the NBA, only Popovic and his assistant Messina have been mentored by Jeljko Obradovic or his close friend and best man Dusan Ivkovic (now retired).

Therefore don't expect Giannis, nor Doncic or Gobert to play like they do in the NBA,

He has a ways to go before he is the best player in the league. If Kawhi somehow takes the Warriors down he has legit argument, if Curry wins another title he could even have an argument. Giannis seems like a hard worker though so I look for him to improve on those weaknesses.
