Moore really sucked to begin the season, but he had a great start tonight.

Maybe pitching at the trop helped him settle down. Familiar mound.

Tocci needs more AB's in AAA. Robinson has not proven he deserves the job but it is early.

Agree but a rule 5 guy. Not sure he sticks

Playing the Rays helped too. Nice to get spotted a lead but yes encouraging start. Love to salvage him

I think it is going to be tough to send Guzman down and IKF until Elvis is back.

I would say the last start was better but I wouldn't call it a good one
I didn't see that game so I was just going with the box score so you are probably right on that one.

Not sure if that is a big deal. But I guess we need to see what he has to before doing something that terminates his time with the Rangers.

Let’s win our second series of the year tomorrow! ( would also be 2nd in a row)

Interesting article or report on Willie Calhoun.

Waiting for Willie Calhoun

I’ll say this, there’s no doubt we got this kid from LA because it seems he has taken that “LA diva” attitude with him to Texas.

This is the second time in less than a year that the kid has made it known that he’s upset about not being at the big league level.

Someone needs to tell this kid that you can’t act like Kobe Bryant ( keeping up with the LA theme) until you have skins on the wall like Kobe did.

His bat is great, but his defense is sub par.

I think the team gets another year of control if they hold him down until early May. So we could see Willie in 3 to 4 weeks.

If you can't find something to be excited about, what can I say?

Yes the other thing in play is Guzman. If Guzman plays 1B where he is the best defensive the. Gallo is likely in LF so where does that put Calhoun?

I get your point, but this is a terrible analogue IMO.

I would like to see Kiner-Falefa and Guzman get more playing time at the expense of Rua and Robinson

Perfect.....have a 2nd baseman and a 1st baseman take the at-bats of a left fielder, and CF. Rock solid logic

Short term problem perhaps.........Gallo is not a left-fielder, and we/us know it.....Short term fix........However, it wouldn't surprise me to see the Rangers give Joey a real shot at 3rd in the near future.....Thus, LF is open to whomever wants to 'assume-the-position'
