im somewhere around 18-19 but the first 5-7 were not very active........fist time i drafted brett favre #1 overall
Brett Farve was my QB in my first ever league. . Didn't even know who he was, just happened to be the highest ranked guy left in the fantasy rag i bought that day. . Rode him and Emmit to my first title in my first year. Could be mistaken but i think he won MVP that year

So technically the B league has 4 former A league guys, and these guys are good. All it took was one unfortunate season. Always harder to climb back up. This year think the new guys are gold, add the former A guys who are fired up to get back to the A league, minus the guy who was mailing it in, the lost of the reigning A champ, might just have the perfect storm going on.:D

Bunch of damn young'ens in this league. I took a rookie QB with my first ever pick Vinny Testeverde.

Scoring was done on an old computer and got the stats out of the USA today.

I'm pretty sure Marvin Harrison and Terrell Owens were my first two picks on a computer.

Definitely had Jeff George on a team prior to that in a TD-only league on paper.

My grade 8 season hockey pool was drafted in wood shop. 8 team league, 10 players each. Eric Lindros rookie season, he went first. I had the 3-hole and took Mario. Came back around and took LaFontaine. Won the league with those two picks alone! (combined 300 or so points) LOL

There is a awful lot of smack being talked for a league that lost the total points last year by 86 and the year before that by like 600 points. Micro can't be blamed for everything. We will continue to spank you like the red headed step children you are B league. :boink: But remember it's not just beating the A league outright, you have to beat them by 168 points for the season for four teams to move up. Also, in case anybody was wondering and it doesn't look like there's going to be any objections, this is what both leagues will look like:

A league

Treff
Tlance
Bandit
Fuzzy
Joe
TKO
Face
Steelers
Obx
Trudem
Ram
Milk

B league

Lefty
Foot
Harold
Monkey
Sam
Shady
Smitty
BK
Barilko
Stomp (still pending but looking good)
Femurov (still pending but looking good)
EHB5 (still pending but looking good)

Looked it up. It went from a straight up competition to giving the A league a sweet cushion. Guess those writing the rules were getting a bit nervous about a head to head.:dhd: No matter, my goal is to make it to the A league, once I'm there I'll have that insurance policy working for me. Sweet!

The smack talk is all in fun, however it appears the gap is closing quickly. From 600 to a measly 68, next year who knows.

That was actually a rule that the great Wil White created himself when he created oblivion.

OK. I gave it a search and saw a post where he explained it to Foot, but he might of let that part out. It's all good, just never realized that was part of the set up. B league will over come it.:pound:

There were two of us with over 1600 points in B League last year. Where was our help?

There were two of us with over 1600 points in B League last year. Where was our help?

Tell you my theory of why the B league is usually at a disadvantage. It's usually the newbies, take myself for example. I played FF before I landed in here, but it wasn't really all that competitive. Mostly everyone just got by with their general knowledge of football, nobody keep up with the latest news. So when I first started here I was way behind, but I've learned. I pour over most everything that could relate to FF now. Our newest members do not have that disadvantage, they are up on all the latest, got their own strategy etc. The A league in the meantime culls their clan and grabs the cream from the B league. However there is a flaw, sometimes a really good FF just has incredibly bad luck and falls to the B league, and vs versus . It's a perfect storm a brewing...that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
