It's nice to be atop the Nhl right now, but the special teams play does have to improve. It's absurd to have the best team at even strength and have incredible depth at every position and yet our power play is worse than that of some teams that won't even be making the playoffs.

If the power play improves at all, I like our chances of winning the President's Trophy.

It is just amazing to me. We are 4 for 31 on the power play in the month of January, which is a horrific 12.9% efficiency. As dominant as we are at even strength, can we just start declining our own power plays? It is ridiculous.

And yet we won 9 of those 11 games so far in January...lol
