Had they kept him around, with the rest of the Phillies core they probably would have had at least 2, maybe 3-4 World Championships instead of just the one.

Dude are you high or something. It was reported that Jerry Dipoto was willing to give up Mike Trout for Mike Adams because he needed to swell up the backend of the bullpen. Dipoto just wanted an 800 grand kicker; but Amaro, knowing he would need that money for when Abreu makes the team, called the deal off.

Do you now see how huge an impact this signing had on the future, and why everyone is whining non-stop about it?
