Go Army!
Well, I wont disagree they should have won more because, of course, they fell 1 yard short of b2b titles. Put them back at 2nd & goal from the 1 in SB 49, and they probably win that 95 times out of 100? Really a different discussion though. I still contend their run from '12-'16 is going to be better than whatever the Eagles or Rams do over the next 4 years on top of their break-through '17 season. I will bet against the Rams making it to 2 SBs in the next 4 years, and I'll bet against either team making it to the division round for 5 consecutive years with double digit wins. GB hasn't done it with Rodgers. Saints haven't done it with Brees. Panthers haven't done it with Cam.You could argue coming up with 1 SB win in that stretch is a letdown though.
The Seattle defense during that era is easily in the top 5 of all-time defenses and RW was easily a top 10 QB and it should've been a team that had more than 1 SB win to show for it.
The question with Carroll has always been longevity and his history has shown he can build something up and have success but it soon falls apart and crashes and burns.
I'd say if he can retool this Hawks roster and have them competing for titles again it'll silence all the naysayers.
