Reserving some judgement for now. But if the full story stays like it sounds on first blush send him packing. A CB so far down the depth chart makes a perfect example for the rest of the lockeroom to not go off and be an asshole like this.

In a similar vein .. what about Ruben Foster looking at 3 felony counts for an altercation with his girlfriend .. hopefully ex-girlfriend if she is smart. I know a few people wanted him at 15, dodged a bullet on that one.

The only record of him being a troubled kid was in college, so I wouldn't fault Roseman in this. It looked like a great deal for us at the time, and it gave us something for Torrey who would have been cut. If it is all true about this kid, then he will get cut this week. We'll see.

At least we have Torrey Smith's replacement on the roster... but it rather sucks because we lost a CB for nothing. Not saying this is anyone's fault other than the young, stupid CB's. The FO couldn't have necessarily known. Sounds like drugs/alcohol. And nothing wrong with carrying a gun, but it's stupid to have one on you when you are going to be drinking/partying this way. Just stupid. I'm glad we found out now. And I applaud the FO for dealing with it now. Looks like we need to hit on another FA CB or find one late in the draft that has potential.

Howie still replaced Smith with Wallace at half the cap number. Not as impressive as a CB thrown in too.....but still impressive.

And also impressive.....let's not wait around on these kinds of instances. Clear it out and move on. It was the right place to make such a statement.
