Well, Russell Wilson is a really good QB. Assuming he stays alive this season, whoever is starting at RB should get decent yards. You can't just stack the box against Wilson.

Was listen to Pete press interview after practice. He mentioned that Penny weighed in at 236. That isn’t good. He’s young and will work it off, but still......

He looks just fine to me on the field. Not a sign of being overweight or too heavy for his frame, and he lateral quickness seems to be impressive.

I agree, he looked fine. I guess I was just a bit taken back by a increase of 15 lbs. in such a short span of time.

Well, he may have also just cut some water weight for the combine. I am not familiar enough with what he played at in college, but 10-15 pounds on a guy his size isn't a big number. The combine was also 5+ months ago now. 2-3 pounds or so in a month also isn't a huge number.

Can't believe most posters on this board don't think Carson is capable of gaining 1000 yards this season. IMO he's one of the most exciting young backs in the NFL -- a combination of power, lateral quickness and speed I haven't seen since the departure of Marshwan Lynch. If he can avoid serious injury, he should come close to 1000 yards this season.

For most of us, it's not because we don't think he can but because he'll be splitting the load to the point the opportunity just may not be there. We've been trying the last 2 years to establish Prosise as the 3rd down back and maybe more, but he's missed 2/3 of the games. Looks mostly healthy now (but that changes quickly with him). And then we have 1st round pick Rashad Penny, who is coming off a broken finger but is going to see the field plenty when able. Carson has the ability without much doubt (my opinion) but just may not get the touches.

He’s gonna have to pick it back up, if he continues the way his last 4 games have gone he’ll fall short.

True... I would love to see Penny get more touches though... IMO, he should be getting more than Davis... Curious after the season is done as to why Penny was held back, while Davis got the fair share of carries...

I love the way he runs. Carson is Beastmode lite. I hope that dude can stay healthy for us.

Yeah Chris Carson is like a beast that is really good at gymnastics. Its crazy seeing him crash into dudes then jump over them the next play. I like what both Penny and Davis brings because looking at the rams if Gurley isn't making plays at the running back position it isn't going to happen from anyone else in terms of backs

CJ Anderson looked pretty good last week for the Rams in place of Gurley... He'll be a good backup for them throughout the postseason... He had 20 rushes for 167 yards and 2 TD's last week...

yeah he did look good they signed him not to long ago for the reason I mentioned above but still overall that team lacks depth once you look past their big name stars they do not have much to offer

Yeah, great thing is they lack depth all around due to the salary they have tied up with 10% of the players on the roster...

While a few posters agreed that Carson was capable of gaining 1000 yards this season, almost none of them actually thought he'd do it. My thought at that time was "Have they actually seen this guy play?" And what was even more surprising was some other posters' belief that rookie Penny would do better than Carson! I thought Seahawk fans were more savvy than that!
