He sucked before McVay took over at LA.
A lot of factors went into that, but true. Still shows more promise as a franchise QB than Dak. Not saying Goff is a franchise caliber QB right now, nor that Dak can’t be, just that as it is right now Goff is clearly the better QB.

Goff is only slightly ahead but I see Dak making big strides this season.

I immediately throw out any time with Jeff Fisher.

Guy is absolute garbage

Slightly? It’s not very close.

QB A
4688yds passing
32 TDs
101.1 rating

QB B
3885yds passing
22 TDs
96.9 rating

The only thing Dak does better is run the ball & has a slightly better completion percentage.

Yeah and I’m sure Rams fans think their QB will make even bigger strides this season and coincidentally I see every single Eagle down to our long snapper taking big strides this season

:rolleyes2:

Dak's ability to run the ball actually gives him the advantage over Goff.

Dak has the legs. Goff has the coach. Think the advantage still goes to Goff when it comes to contract question.

Only because the Rams made the SB.

Cap space 2020:

Cowboys 94 million

Rams 87 million

Eagles 30 million

Cowboys and Rams look like they can pay market price, whatever that turns out to be. Eagles may better off waiting a year for cap purposes, but that will mean Wentz price rises with the market provided:
A) Stays healthy
B) Plays well

Wentz probably ends up with a much bigger contract all things consider.
Even if Howie is a genius.

@HaroldSeattle you did mention howie being a genius. Thats all it comes down to period. THe eagles could be in the red in cap space and they will be ok, They can afford roughly 40 mill over 5 years, or 35 mill with a signing bonus......but mostly guaranteed money. THey will have no problems keeping their own and signing others

We can eliminate Wince from this conversation.
If Howie really is all that $ smart he'll only pay Wince 3/4 of what the other guys are getting. Why pay full price for a part-time player.

if he stays healthy he will be another QB in the 35+ range by the time he signs.
