Iowa has ruined enough MSU seasons for me not to tolerate them. Maybe it’s just the 2010 clouding my feelings.

I actually like MSU. For some reason, it is always a game to watch. I always forget Iowa beat MSU as a 5th ranked team as Iowa's season fell apart a few weeks later. But Iowa did have a lot of talent that season, most led them to an Orange Bowl victory in 2009.

For Iowa fans, 2009 matchup with MSU was more memorable. That was when Iowa did 4 plays in 10 seconds and Marvin McNutt caught the game winning TD. Iowa probably wouldn't have gotten the Orange Bowl.

I'll give you that 2015 was a good season. I don't think squeaking out wins like 27-24 over Pitt, 29-20 over the Illini, 35-27 over Indiana, 40-35 over Minnesota, and 28-20 over Nebraska makes a great season. Iowa had a bunch of close games that year that went their way, but them being a top 5 team was a joke.

Illinois was a trap game. It was a week after Wisconsin and a week before Northwestern (who did beat Stanford that year). I want to say Nebraska was basically played on ice. I am not sure what happened at Minnesota. It is a rivalry game, so there's that. Iowa had also clinched division heading into the Nebraska game. I also might be remembering wrong, but I think it was below freezing and Nebraska is always breezy that day too. Nebraska also kicked a FG with around a minute left too. So 28-17 is not a blowout, it is not a super close game too.

One are two close games (less than 1 score) is one thing 4 is another. Look, they had a good year and went to one of if not the biggest non playoff bowl games. I'm not saying they were a bad team. Just not top five or six material with the results on the field.

There really aren't any teams that I dislike so much that I would like to see them lose every game, but there are some teams that I enjoy seeing take their lumps during the season just because: a) They are always over-rated by the media; b) They have some overly-obnoxious fans on multiple sports forums [not necessarily all their fans, just certain ones who stand out above the rest]; c) Their school has done something that damages the integrity of the game.

a) Butthurtedness- when someone tries to celebrate anything Michigan (Exhibit A. This past NCAA tourney run)

I would say that Michigan has a higher than average OD homer fans. Michigan fans were at Oklahoma fan level of shitposting threads of meaningless stuff that belong on team boards.

I wouldn’t say that Michigan “sucks” per se, but they have not been living up to the level of hype that Harbaugh has been generating.
