Two up on .500 and a double header with these cellar dwellers. What could go wrong? A safe bet - based on season history is a series split.
Yeah, makes sense. Normally I'd say this could/should be a sweep for the Good Guys, but we are simply way, way, way too inconsistent this season to expect such. If I go to bed tonight with us getting a split, I won't be happy, but I'll be satisfied. Two up on .500 and a double header with these cellar dwellers. What could go wrong? love to hear the logic involved here.Good to see Tony giving our aging vets the 2nd gm of the doubleheader off (Robert and Vaughn)
Self proclaimed Nostradamus.....tonight at least. And as usual the SOP, split a DH against a sub .500 team - 2nd worst record in the AL mind you. And even then Hendriks had to make it overly dramatic. Good grief!! But I promised I'd be satisfied.Yeah, makes sense. I'd like to see Cease get another W - as one of the only bright spots in this dismal season.
In an unrelated note - Chris Sale broken his non-pitching wrist riding his bicycle and is out for the season.
i missed that. when was it?stone finally calling the team out after ripping fans all year for being pissed at the them
