Just had some Evan Williams. Shit is terrible.

A buddy of mine in college had the same exact name. Everyone who met him at the bar would get him shots of that shit and he hated it lol.

In my opinion Maker's Mark is the perfect combination of quality and price.

excellent choice, G-n-G,.......I still have my 108/proof bottle on my shelf [got it in 1999],......after I used to get ''beered-out'' I'd switch-over to ~W-T~ on the rocks/with d.-coke/~twist-lime~,....*during my old drinkin-dayz*.

Relatives coming from Boston this weekend, need some good whiskey for them. One of them loves a "old fashioned" before dinner, the two others like it straight up. I prefer a diet coke with mine, they usually make fun of me,whatever. Any ideas would be great, and preferably under 50 bones....thanks.

As much as I don't care to agree with a packers fan, Troy & Sons makes some very good whiskey. On a side note, they have the largest Pot still in the country.

Maker's Mark is my drink. Two fingers, doesn't need a thing. I've tried the more expensive brands and while good, I can't find anything under $100 a bottle that I think is that much better. But then again I have a soft spot for Jameson so maybe my pallet just isn't tuned to the rich stuff.

God I love me a glass of Maker's Mark though...
