Isn't the obvious answer Kansas.
The Basketball people don't want the Football people to draw attention the the Schools Athletic Programs, so they don't, and it's reflected on the field.

But damn
3 wins in 3 years.
and no wins the first year.

There's a limit isn't there?

This is something that isn't talked about frequently, but if you've been on campus at USC, you can understand why an 18 year old boy would want to sign there.

It's another world on campus there. Everyone comes from a super wealthy family and a UW 8/10 is a USC 5/10.

It would be difficult to lure a prospect away from USC.

Lol. I remember when I took my son to his first USC football game. He was 14 and one of his friends went with us. When we got on campus, I stayed about 10 feet behind them and had a lot of fun watching their heads spin as they tried to see all of the girls at the same time.

A little later, we're at Heritage Hall and I'm showing them the Heisman's, etc. when I realize they aren't with me anymore...I find them standing in an open doorway watching the song girls warm up for the game.

4.87 per year is the highest in the PAC? Wow.
I think Nebraska is still paying more than that to coaches who they fired.

I was going to say...

We hired Taggert for 5 million and saved a 1.5 from what
Fisher was making.

We also saved money on air fare. Willie didn't wait for the
plane...he ran from Oregon to Tally. He couldn't get out of
the Northwest quick enough.

But it is true that Washington doesn't have many 4-star athletes.
One of the rare one's they had last year signed with Florida State.
He couldn't wait to get to Tally so he could drink a coke thru a
straw and he's not going to trip over tents or step into a pile
of shit walking to class. He didn't know people lived that well.

In classic JRR Tolkien spiel ... USC is the PAC's version of Mordor.
