Just wanted to pop in and say Congrats and what a great series it was. If I was Detroit or Boston, I would be VERY worried that the bats woke up last night...against the best lefty in baseball no less.

Full disclosure I am a born and bred Dodger fan (mom born in Brooklyn, moved to LA in 1957 and I was born in LA in 1971) and I now live in North County St Louis. I root for the Cards 155 games out of the year and you can understand why I was not rooting for them in this series. However, as a baseball fan, I give credit where credit is due. Wacha is the real deal. Dude is a STUD. You have a great option now since the Series will not start until Wednesday. I personally think the rotation should go Wacha, Waino, Kelly, rinse and repeat. Dance with the girl who brought you..right?

Should be a good series. The two best records and largest run differentials in MLB. With Waino and Wacha going for the Cards they need at least a split in Boston. Yes I know Wacha hasn't officially been announced for game 2 but Matheny has to run him out there. I have a feeling this one is going 6 or 7.

Will Robinson play CF in game 1 with Lester pitching? I think he should but Matheny is pretty loyal to John Jay. Lineup could shake out like this:

Just spit balling, but...Are the legs of Beltran too old for him to play Center and have Craig in right? I would think so, but man, wouldn't that be a potent line-up?

Beltran can't play CF anymore and who knows if Craigs ankle would hold up in the outfield. If Craig plays in the home games it would be at 1B.
