And "7 time" is done and he took out Almirola on his way. Suarez may have some damage as well.

What's the point of this race now? It was much more fun when we had 3 or 4 spots up for grab

Yep sad. No way would I risk destroying a car in this race. Starting position doesn't typically matter in pack racing anyway.
Exactly. Who cares where they start in this race? You can go from the back to the front relatively easy if you have a good car, so there's no reason to risk wrinkling it in the 150's. They should just use the regular qualifying method now. Pointless.

well looking at the 1st duel. It looks like the 500 is going to be a very boring race.

5-10 laps of racing at the beginning of the race & about 5 laps at the end & follow the leader for the rest.

For sure. Unless they figure these cars out between now and Sunday, they aren't going to be racing very hard for fear of the ass end stepping out from under them.

Got to hand it to Ricky, he was trying to make something happen
Yea he was ... he was sticking his nose in every nook and cranny like a hound dog looking for a crumb.

I call it being smart....

Yep, Harvick just being a dick as usual. There really was nothing to gain from last night since the track was green and it was at night. The 500 will be completely different with tons of rubber on the track and the temperature will be much higher.

One quiet bright spot in this past week's proceedins is that the 43 with Bubba Wallace driving an RCR Camaro has earned a 7th place starting spot while the turncoat Almirola is back with Danica.

I hope Wallace Jr becomes a sensation and the 43 runs up front all season long. It would really cool if won this race for the King. The sport needs a renaissance of sorts, big time and I can think of not a better feel-good storyline than to have that fantasy of mine become reality!!!
