Seattle Mariners make three trades: They acquired relievers Adam Warren and Zach Duke on Monday and outfielder Cameron Maybin on Tuesday. What, you expected Jerry Dipoto to sit quiet? None of these is a sexy pickup, but they add depth to a team that has struggled of late. Maybin isn't great, but Guillermo Heredia has hit .180/.231/.271 in 49 games since June 1. This probably means that when Robinson Cano returns on Aug. 14, Dee Gordonwill remain at second base (for the most part), and Cano will get some time at first base, where Ryon Healy has produced a .273 OBP.

while seattle did not get the pitcher they needed this time..dont expect depoto to come up empty in the off season.

if...lewis stay's healthy..and shows improvment..he may add white to the list..with a couple lesser prospects
to come up with a #2 starter..for the same reason..that he traded brigman
and he does not mind filling the AA OR AAA with minor league free agents

and after an oriantation at AZL beau branton( think jose altuve) is leading modesto in batting AVE at 333 in 39 at bats

maybin only makes 3.25 mil i expect depoto will talk him into signing agian...and span as well..with heredia to tacoma
and ian miller and braden bishop prob...at tacoma as well...and falia..and voggy

they did... NOT .... trade povse,matt festa or david mcKay...some of there best pitchers at AA..who will prob be at AAA next year

they did call up vincej who is a defecive guy............they could send down any time
..and they no longer need romine to play 1B/3B when cano returns

with maybin in CF .. gordan can play SS.or 2B..and oh yeah..look cano is ..right there at 1b/2B....well ahhhh it seems coverd

i still like brad miller though. cuz if they do go to the playoffs still ..cano will not..and maybe edgar could help miller hit better .idk

Outside the box thinking had they dealt Healy is put Ben Gamel over at 1B.

I read about that and it just didn't make sense to cut a guy for that. I would take him back and he can throw his glove all game long.

Normally the guy would get benched for a couple of games or fined but something is seriously wrong in that club house for that team to have a complete meltdown.

I think there is more to it, it seems that clubhouse is imploding and he is a casualty of the FO trying to get everyone back in line.

pitching is always......the primo....trade..it seems..i still like poncdeleon...i may never see him as a mariner though ..lol

i not sure wheather he is a #2 starter type but..i would find a spot ....lol

after the pirates got chris archer they maybe wiling to trade one of three RH starters

trevor williams is the guy i would pay too get..for the mariners...he is not a strike out pitcher but would fit a west coast ball club
ivan nova should be there 4th or 5th guy not the #2

musgrove is about the same as williams

so williams or musgrove both from san diego would work for me

they also have clay holmes at there AAA who is prob better than those two guys

they wont wait all that long for tylern hearn a LHP to be i there rotation...who is at there AA
he is a SO pittcher..so they could afford to trade

and prob will at some point...just hope its the mariners and not someone else

yeah they are dangling a six man rotation...that includes clay holmes cuz he is better than those guys....lol

they are prob sloting him at #3 in the future...with tyler hearn at #2

and cris archer at#1 till 2021
