So we didn't end up getting a starter, besides Erasmo, whenever that happens, but all in all I think we improved the team.

The Maybin trade is nice. Dude is a veteran and knows how to play the game. Started slow this year but is hitting well right now and plays great D. Considering what Herredia was doing at the plate, that is a pretty big upgrade right there.

Looks like no moves for the A's which is good, nothing for Houston either outside of Osuna

For a team with the longest playoff drought in major sports, I give them a 'C' for their moves. They added 4 relievers which were needed before the season started and now have added 2 OF's which coming into the season was a major mystery. The talent they got is a slight upgrade over the below average players they replaced.

Yeah Im going to agree, I mean we got the lefty that was needed in the pen, but another starter was/still is biggest concern

...

yeah i saw that.but they need him (ryep.)at tacoma.........seems i was busy when all the action was going on..

but i have to agree ...on a ..C.+..grade..mabin is ok ..and will work for what is needed...but they should have tryed for brad miller

they are dfAing him ...but now has been relesed..so if he picks up miller i could give him a B+ but that would DFA romine
who unless picked up would go to tacoma as well....prob

...i saw that the bull pin..was a prob but did not list it when i should have..which would have given them 4 slots to fill..#2 starter,Utility, R/R backup OF,and bull pin guys

so i have to give myself only a c+ as..well......................... AHhahaha.....LOL

im not sure that any starting pitchers...where avilaible...... for...what.,,depoto.. is/was..looking for..and the price to be paid
that said...i cant give him a grade on .....not gitting a starting pitcher

brigman..to me is a big price for mabin....but he prob would have been at AAA next year...and we still have segura ,and cano, and gordan for a few years to come
so m not all brokin up about it

2 of 4.probs solved.( hopefully)..with a maybe still there( cuz they could sign miller anytime..until august 30).is not bad

like i said before .......if you are going to get a starting #2 pitcher....better make sure you get the right one ..so you dont have to pay over and over and over again in the ...search...for el dorado....LOLOLOLOL

search for el dorado ==myth..
