That's a situation where if you get suspended for bumping the umpire, everyone would understand, and a gofundme would have the fine paid off within minutes.

Folty had better be on notice. If McCarthy bounces back and becomes a serviceable veteran starter, Folty might be the odd man out. He's not the worst stat wise on the staff, but he's by far the most frustrating.

This is year 4. Newcomb is basically still a rookie. Newcomb shouldn't be more mature than Folty, but he is.

Every time a player in the league gets a PED suspension, Chip and Joe go on a rant. Hate to tell em, but there likely multiple players on our team taking something they're not supposed to just like with every other team. It's not as rampant as it used to be, but anyone that thinks the steroid era is truly over is dreaming.

He hasn't allowed a baserunner, and he's supposed to be a starter at some point. Let him finish the inning. If he's gonna be a starter, you shouldn't be worried about lefty/lefty or righty/righty matchups.

I mean, I love me some Winkler, but you'd think letting Gohara pitch some meaningful innings would be beneficial. Mop up duty in a 9-1 game in Miami doesn't really tell you much.
