I was at the game last night. Most brutal loss I have ever been in the stands to witness.

Up 3-0 top of the 9th, 2 outs with nobody on and we lose.

And at that moment, I told my buddies that if we have to choose between Harper and Kimbrel this offseason, I want Kimbrel.

I can't handle the blown saves.

Dansby benched today. Good Call, he has been swinging the bat better but that error Thursday night and that swing last night at ball 4...5 feet off the plate deserved a game.

I'd still rather have Camargo at short, and Culberson at third, but either way, that's our best lineup. Dansby has been swinging better lately, but not better than Charlie.

Hopefully his shoulder really was bothering him and he can return to last season's form where he wasn't great, but decent enough to warrant a spot on an MLB roster.

I think 4 game weekend series at home against NL West teams aren't our forte.

And as a side note, I feel like the Milwaukee series has been our only 3 game series in a while, the rest have either been 4 game or 2 game series due to being scheduled that way or due to rainouts.

This is the win probability graph from yesterday's game. When Arenado grounded out in the 9th, the Braves had a 99.6% chance of winning the game, based off the score, inning, outs, runners on base, and run environment of all teams in similar situations. That means that historically, teams have only lost 0.4% of their games when being up 3 runs with 2 outs in the 9th inning and no one on base (in similar scoring environments).

That must have been a fucking gut-punch.
