hitters. Usually hitters tend to get better and better each year. Thereforem who are the hitting stats I look at that says they will improve to another level? Do I look at HR totals? Or hits and runs? When a player reaches the 50 HR season plateau what HRs should he have had at least for last year?

It doesn't exist. BABIP is a good indicator to look at if a player has a big outlier. Opportunity is another factor. Most hitters are hot and cold all year. Matchups are a large part of it too, and that just cannot be predicted outside a week or two.

Just rank players at each position, find your tier brackets, and adapt to the draft.

ahh... the old short cut... if fanstasy sports had a shortcut then it would be boring....

the easiest "TRICK" is to draft players on good offenses who play in a good ballpark and have every day jobs...

Well the orioles have shown to disappoint me there? Btw it's an even year for the Os. I understand hitters are hot and cold. I am talking about players that will take the next step to 40+ HR like Aaron Judge.

I'm not talking about early picks. Sleepers.

Patience as well (in season). If Aaron Judge started April as he did August,

Aaron Judges don't come around every year.

I'll take Grichuk as an option for 30+

I understand that....but just a hitter that's not going to cause me to look for his replacement on the waiver wire.
