Speaking of Paige....

So, basically, Raw and Smackdown are running the EXACT SAME ANGLE in their women's divisions and neither show acknowledges how what is happening is mirroring the other show?

WWE treats their audience like they are fucking stupid!
Yep, I immediately change the channel when that trash comes on.

The Paige one is actually pretty decent because it logically makes sense for her character. She WAS one of the first women to break out in the "women's revolution" and she was left out due to injuries/her being crazy. For her to come back with some henchmen to tear shit up works. There's potential here, especially since Paige is really good at being a heel.

The Riot Squad is just garbage though. None of them are ready for the main roster. Their segment last SD was BRUTAL.

The Riot Squad business wouldn't be so bad. If they would cast them as Paige underlings as well.

But trying to play them off as two totally different stories when they are just basically the same story on two different shows is just plain fucking lazy!

See this is the problem with everyone wanting instant gratification these days. It's entirely possible that Paige is leading this whole thing and sent these 3 women to SD to do the same thing she's doing on Raw but because everyone now has a "too similar don't like it" mindset it likely wont get over as well as it could if people would just sit back and wait and see. People used to watch and be interested in where storylines would go(sometimes it was good and sometimes it wasn't) but now if you don't give everyone everything right away they get bored and don't care.

There's no really good buildup anymore because people want the payoff and they want it now, they don't want to wait. The HHH/Seth Rollins story is an amazing example of this, you could tell WWE was building to WM when HHH turned on Rollins but because HHH wasn't out there every week explaining his actions and people actually had to wait for it they shit on it all the way until they were having their official match.

True, but the "wait and see" stuff still doesn't help the RS being green af. Even if they turn out to be related, none of that trio can carry the load. They've floundered badly in every appearance so far. Ruby is the "best" one and I'd merely rate her as barely passable

But isn't that more of women don't/won't get over as much as the guys because of creative? They build storylines with the dudes but whenever they have an opportunity to do the girls they randomly put women together. IMO they do the same thing with the cruiserweights and it isn't really entertaining.

That's the thing both factions are green af. The only member with any experience is Paige. And she's looking very sloppy. Not just the micheal Jackson look she's got going on with her lipstick. But did you catch her sloppy power bomb against Sasha? That was awkward Sasha was lucky imo. The NXT invasion angle is weak. Asuka was NXT when the bulk of these girls were jobbing. About the only good thing about this angle. Was Asuka holding her own with absolution. A step up from the bad booking and toward how bad ass she is. Other than that absolution was boring week 2 imo
