I am 52% according to my kindle through the book. It has been pretty badass.

As I stated in the Walking Dead thread...

I refuse to watch a show when the network resorts to dirty tactics to get it onto my DVR.

If the show gets OMG reviews, MAYBE I will binge it after the season ends. But I will not support those dishonest tactics with my viewership.




Of course, this is easy in this instance. The show does not look interesting to me in the slightest.

For DVRs, they scheduled TWD for two hours, but the second hour was just the pilot of this show.

I watched the first two episodes, and will continue to watch all 10.

If you like grim, dark horror stories, then you will probably enjoy The Terror.

I hope the visual effects for the creature, the Tuunbaq, a gigantic demon bear are good. So far we only got a 2 second duration, long-distance glimpse of the Tuunbaq. I believe one of the characters stated that the creature's paw print was 20 inches in size.

The book was pretty badass. The show has some tweaks from the book, some of the characters personalities are different.

Anyways under the direction of Ridley Scott this show should be pretty good.

First episode was pretty good. It didn't upset me that they tagged it onto TWD the way it did some. I was actually happy that there wasn't 2 hours of TWD since it sucks ass now.

Wow! That's just low--they literally tricked people into recording it by telling them it was something else. That's easily reason enough to boycott it imo.

Well, it wouldn't have been the show that did it, it was the network, so you should be boycotting the network.

Better Call Saul and Preacher are very good.... Humans is decent too.

This thing doesn’t even get closely to following the book.
It’s all over the place with relationships that didn’t happen, Captain’s fighting that didn’t fight.

The lady speaking that never fucking spoke, no one spoke the language. That’s what made the book a thriller, no one knew what the fuck was going on.
