I have intended to watch this one for a while, and it’s time finally came this week for me.
Acting is fine. Production value is obviously there. The cast is amazing.
But, as is typical and fully expected, it has no idea how half the country lives/thinks. Their main character is an pulled-from-the-trenches young, “conservative” reporter thrust into the spotlight taking over an anchor chair on the top-rated morning news show on tv. The problem is that every single specific issue that this “conservative” woman has sided on in the show has been the very liberal side of the argument. Outside of her being called “conservative”, there is absolutely nothing we have seen about her that could be described as conservative.
