He needs to stop listening to people telling him to shoot more. I don't listen to radio much, but I did hear an interview where he talked about everyone telling him to just shoot the ball, that it was frustrating to them to see him pass the ball off when he had a good shot open. He said he tries to go based upon instincts. I think he's going against his instincts and it is hurting his shooting and possibly assists.

Thanks for the info.

Why the drop of steals, though?

He started the season with several 3 steal games.

Now he averages 1.0 a game for the season.

Do you think the PA, Dan Roberts, should ring a Bell (not a Raja one) after a Jingles made shot or FT?

Do you think the Dan Roberts should play a recorded sound of Ostertag saying "Ho Ho Ho!" after a Jingles made shot or FT?

Recent news on Joe Ingles - Utah Jazz - Rotoworld.com

Joe Ingles scored 14 points with seven rebounds, nine assists and three 3-pointers in 35 minutes against the Kings on Saturday.

He set a franchise record for most triples in a season with 179 and has 12 games left to play. Ingles has been lights out from deep with his 45.0 percent from out there to lead the league. Ingles has been a top-40 player in standard leagues on the season thanks to his efficiency and not missing a game yet. Mar 18 - 12:10 AM

Probably until someone gets injured or they realize that it’s better for him to start. You know, because MHSL82 likes him.

I wish you had tagged yourself, to see if you would generate an alert.

I thought about it, but I know it doesn’t. @MHSL82

It hyperlinks it, but no alert/notification. I still need you to tag me outside of this group to test, as I get alerts for any activity here regardless. It’s as pointless to tag me here as it would be for me to tag you in a post I quote you on, @nuraman00 .

Is he going to come off the bench when the season starts?

Kings vs. Jazz - Box Score - October 14, 2019 - ESPN

I heard something on the radio state that if he started, they wouldn’t have anyone to spark the bench. They call it the Ginobli effect. Ginobli was obviously good enough to start and so is Lou Williams. But the role they play on the team is more appropriate for the second string.

My prediction is that if they develop somebody to replace Ingles, Ingles will go into the starting lineup and that guy will get his rookie year and sophomore experience from the bench.

That’s how it usually happens when a player is replaced, the replacement comes off the bench at the beginning, but it is unique in that Ingles would have been on the bench right before that.

Thanks. Sounds ok.

Jae Crowder was an inconsistent bench option to rely upon.

Hopefully Jingles will shake opponents in whatever role he has.

He can re-sign here next year if he wants to for a lower cap number and fewer minutes. Or he can see if he can get more minutes or more money somewhere else.

More “good” news today. Happy for him, but wanted him to sign here for a dollar and a cheesesteak.

Ingles might be back on Monday for his Bucks debut.

Let's see how effective he is.

If he can somehow play like he did several years ago, Milwaukee is a good place for him.

EDIT: Well I guess it also depends on how many minutes he wants. Milwaukee might be very crowded, so maybe it will be hard to carve out minutes. But he might be happy, being on a great team.

Lol! I guess Jordan Clarkson is leaving his wallet at the hotel.

Good to see former Jazz players still enjoying each other's company, off the court.

I hope a pic with Clarkson and Ingles surfaces, in a few days.
