Look up a guy named J.D.Martin...he pitched with TB's AAA last year...and look at the guys career minor league numbers...why the hell are the royals letting a guy like that go to Korea. We could get him for next to nothing.

Christian Binford has been promoted to AA.


Baseball America and MLB.com reported that the Royals signed shortstop Ricky Aracena out of the Dominican Republic on Thursday.

Aracena, 16, reportedly received $850,000. On MLB.com’s top 30 international prospects list Aracena was ranked No. 24. Aracena is 5 feet, 8 inches, and 155 pounds, but he received high marks for his hitting.

So, the FO still believes both Zimmer (rehab) and Finnegan (AA) have a shot at being September callus to reinforce the bullpen. Would be interesting, but I have little faith it happens for Zimmer. I give an outside shot for Finnegan just because he is healthy for now and they are being hyper-aggressive with him.

Most never pan out....we just trade our prospects like cameron maybin and andrew miller for a miggy......or jacob turner for anibal sanchez.......or drew smyly and willy adames for price.......every once in awhile we keep a JV or granderson or nicky C.
