I don't know about that. For every good song Lennon had Harrison had two...really. Even his later songs were better for the most part.

Grow Old With Me........could have easily been a Beatle's Great Hit....Mary Chapin Carpenter did a great cover.
Her cover of the song, made it one of the best songs a Beatle ever wrote.

Which of those songs were written while the guys were still working together as a band? I suspect that Harrison had quite a few ready for solo albums as Lennon and McCartney pretty much dominated the songwriting while the band was still together.

Yes, that would be fascinating to know ,as to when songs were written.........It's fairly obvious as to who wrote which Beatle's songs after a certain time or album...After that ,there are very few true Lennon and McCartney songs or any collaborative songs.
