He had a serious run on the guys ahead of him, he should have known to give them some space, no? It's not like Dillon drifted up more than a few feet anyways so JJ was headed for trouble either way.

Anyone else notice just how little parity is left in nascar these days. Seriously its getting to the point where you can count on 2 hands who can just about win every week

Johnson. Harvick. KyBusch. Kenseth. Logano. Keselowski. Hamlin. 7 real certainties

Then you have guys like truex. Edwards. Earnhardt jr. KuBusch that occasionally compete for wins


Then theres a group that just never wins it seems anymore these days
. Like. Kahne. Mcmurray. Menard. Newman. Bowyer. Allmendinger. Dillon bayne. Biffle. Vickers. Stewart. Almirola

Then the ones still looking for first win. Patrick. Blaney. Elliott. Scott. Not to mention the handful in underfunded teams that will almost certainly never win

JJ was way too low to pull of the pass he was attempting whether Austin got a bit loose or not and it doesn't appear that he gave one fuck. Listening to his lead fluff boy, Jeffy in booth ( as well as the other two yokels) excusing his poor tactics was laughable.

That's like twice as much parity as NASCAR had from the 1950s to the 2000s

I don't think there was too much the 48 could have done there. They were basically exiting the turn there, so there really isn't another high line for him to go into as it would have sent him towards the wall.

Just a racing deal IMO.
