Teams looking to poach Joe Douglas

Lurie: Please do not let this happen. Give the GM title, and promote Andy Weidl to the VP player Personnel. We cannot afford to let these guys leave. Pay them, and give them more responsibility. Roseman will fall flat on his face again if one or both of these guys leave. Give Howie another title, something like Sr. Vice President, or whatever.

I suspect he is as good as gone, with Howie there. He will want to go somewhere where he can be the guy without anyone looking over his shoulder.

Howie is going nowhere. It would be sad if Douglas and co. leaves before we get a few good drafts out of them.

This could be exactly one of those things a declining organization looks back on as a key pivot down. I think Howie has been great....much better than his first time around. I think that is totally Joe Douglas.

To be clear...I think its a team thing. They have all worked together great.

Hopefully if anything can be done to get him to stay Lurie will do it.
