One issue for the Pats - Who is the deep threat? Chad's game is intermediate route running - He hasn't been a big deep threat in years and his production really slipped once our only deep threat (Chris Henry) got hurt in 2009. Brady was at his absolute best when he had Moss to stretch the field and Welker underneath.

Chad also missed two throws where it appears that he stopped running the route, and left it short. Wonder how that will play out in the meeting(s) after they review tape, if true. Brady won't take no shit. Ocho causes Brady an INT, and there will be hell to pay. He'll learn what it's like for a real leader/QB to step into him.

I thought he looked rather stiff on those two misses. I think age is catching up to him. That's not to say he can't have a good year - I just don't think he has a career year in him.
