Where did he facepalm you?
he took it back
Roger Federer SPLITS with Nike to follow Novak Djokovic’s lead at Wimbledon
Good for him!!
I find it hard to believe. I can't see why Nike would let him go like that.
Maybe Roger wanted out. Nike had him wearing some really [email protected] stuff a couple of times.
Roger has never been the pinnacle of "cool"
I am willing to bet the blazer or cardigan idea was all his.
sounds like no one knows who Federer will be rocking at Wimbledon...
Roger Federer to sign Adidas deal? Footwear expert reveals shock Nike update
He said: ”They are rumours and nothing is ruled out, neither my continuity in Nike nor the end of our collaboration, nor a change to any brand.”
But rumours of a link up with Uniqlo refuse to go away and DePaula has added Adidas to the conversation.
Responding to claims that a Federer and Nike split was not official, DePaula wrote on Twitter: “Should Roger Federer leave Nike for the reported $300 Million Uniqlo apparel offer, I’m hearing his new potential footwear partner could be Adidas.”
Nike determines what to wear, based on their fashion research for every "season".
Serena and Roger would usually wear the same outfits.
These are the same color schemes. A light pink Swoosh on black and white clothes.
I don't think it was "all" his. But it was probably a 50/50. I do think he likes the blazer, and Nike had some suggestions on it too.
I feel like Serena and Roger have been given a little more freedom though. I have hated turning on a tournament and seeing every player under a brand wearing the exact same gear. It's just no fun.
Wow, even if he took one of them back, @Hs0022 has facepalmed you twice on this page alone!
I completely agree.
For me, the worst was the Murray vs. Fernando Verdsasco match in 2014. I can't tell them apart.
I like a contrast of colors between opponents.
he feels very strongly about players and whatever brand they are wearing I guess.
i like players being able to show their character and individuality on the court. This isn't a Team Adidas or Team Nike thing, it's an individual sport.
Nike does this with golf too. They need to knock that shit off.
Nike won't let Reed wear red at Masters on Sunday
Good link. Thanks.
I've always wondered, what would happen even if a player wore Nike clothes, but from the late 90s era? What if a player had a lucky Nike shirt from that era, or just liked the fashion better?
What did you think of my Murray vs. Verdasco example?
