Sigh. First two batters against Nola, runners on second and third with no outs. When will the Phillies get a real “ace”? Nola is a middle-inning reliever at best

Nola (finally) makes a good pitch to induce a pop-up, then Fraudco in his first spectacular display of fraudulence, loses the ball in the sun and it drops for a “hit.” When it rains, it pours in Clearwater.

(Yes, I have been taking liberal sips from my coffee mug full of whiskey.)

I'd give Cobb a two year deal. Pass on Lynn, and there's no way I'm touching Arrieta unless he wants to give a discount to play for the future 2018 WS champions
Word. Arietta probably wants too many years anyway

The guy behind the plate with the gun must have spending a lot of time at Trader Vic's downing jager-bombs before the game. 102 MPH from Luis Garcia in the 9th? Yikes.

Scratch that- Garcia was hitting 95 on other pitches. Dude was dealing. Can't believe Kapler is taking him out just because a couple lucky bums got on base with a 1 run lead. You could even say he was throwing Spanish Bombs to the hitters(if you were drunk like me anyway)

Spanish bombs, yo te quierro y finito
Yo te querda, oh mi corazón la Phillies!

I'm not watching it---What's Garcia's beard situation?

Is it Amish, Abe Lincoln, ZZ Top, Mexican mechanic?

Bases loaded, 2 outs, 2-1 Phillies. Good thing the Red Sox have a 15 year old named Luke Tendler hitting

That's not the guy you buy your pot from---But the guy you buy your pot from buys it from another guy, who buys it from another guy, who buys it from a guy that looks like Luis Garcia. And you don't fuck with a guy who looks like Luis Garcia.

BTW, not implying he's a kingpin or anything. That guy obviously has to report to a guy that looks like Vicente Padilla, who is running the whole show.

Speaking of Garcia- I used to consider him kind of a fringe guy on the roster, middle reliever that may or may not show up on the roster from one year to the next, but does he actually have the most seniority on the Phillies now? I can't think of anyone that is here now that was here before him except maybe "Hail Cesar!".
