FSU will have a battle at QB entering fall camp.

Hockman's Garnet team beat Blackman's Gold team 31-13.

Garnet had the best running game. Almost 700 combined yards of offense, but it
was more defense than offense. Laborn had a 91-yard run from scrimmage as part
of his 140 yards on 12 carries. Patrick, Akers and Rasul were all below 50 yards rushing.

Hockman looked comfortable out there but only Gavin had any true experience at WR.
(The other experienced players were all out of the game)

Defense ran hard to the ball the entire game.

A day later...Hockman is the center of many interviews.

He impressed a lot of people.

FTR...he was more highly rated coming out of High School. He was a 4-star compared
to Blackmon being a 3-star. Plus he played against better competition.

With a new offense they all start equal. Francois wasn't on the field all spring because
of his injury and is really behind these guys. He'll have to work extremely hard to get
noticed in fall camp. (First two weeks).

Taggart is gonna have to create a bunch of reps for all of them and have two weeks
to start making a decision. His decision is gonna have to be pretty decisive because we
open vs VPI on Labor Day night.
