Reports out of Dove Valley today that Trevor Siemian has a sprained foot that he suffered during the overtime portion of last Sunday's game. Siemian is reportedly not practicing today. Now there is no further information yet as to the severity of the sprain and it could be very mild. After all, today is only Wednesday.

However if it turns out to be worse than that, this could be a huge developing story. Siemian is obviously most effective when he can scramble and use his mobility to make plays. The Jags game is an absolute must win and I'm sure that the Broncos want Siemian under center on Sunday but they also can't risk losing him for more games, as they've all become critical at this point.

Of course, better to insert Paxton Lynch for one game than be forced to play him a bunch if the injury worsens. Again, this might be nothing at all to worry about but I'll be paying close attention to the updates today and tomorrow.

Of course, spelling "Something" might have provided a bit more credibility to this thread. Unfortunately, I don't know how to edit a thread title. Sigh...

Boot him up. It worked last year after KC beat us at home.

Well now would be the time to put Paxton in for the rest of the season since Denver is pretty much out of the playoff race if they lose to Jacksonville. If Simien is hurt and we go Paxton and lose might as well keep Lynch in the rest of the season.

Sounds similar to Champ Bailey's foot injury that lingered for awhile.

Paxton might get his shot a week after Siemian's by far best game.

Denver just allowed access to Lynch . Will do that if you are projected to be the starting QB.

Damn Justin Houston wrecked the heck out of our team. Him and Hill did KC need the other 20 guys?

This is where Paxton turns Trevor into Wally Pip?

Paxton Lynch might fire this team up. Trevor is a decent QB and decent fellow, but he is not an emotional spark a team can rally around. Lynch is exactly that.

Unless we're playing Atlanta.

Normally I would agree with you as I've been especially hard on the lad, but, Trevor looked friggin awesome when the pressure was on. I was actually excited to see if he could carry off that performance and now this. Another setback for this team. What a kick in the balls
