I mean admittedly I love it... Griffin IMO is a hybrid S/LBer... this guy will completely fill a coverage/lateral opposition to quick offenses. Love also that the brothers get to play together.. should unite the locker room. End of day I see him on the field very little.. which is why he should've been a 5th round pick. Hopefully he can get coached up to become a more prominent stater.

A+ pick - but still completely agree with taking him in the 5th. He's a niche player IMO.

He's a luxury pick that I dont think we can afford. Feeling the FO slowly losing their grip on this draft.

Have you ever watched him play? His instincts are off the charts good and he is incredibly athletic. His only downside is the missing hand. If you have hated the draft before this, I'd imagine it is because we have gone against the "experts" draft boards and we've been graded poorly for it. Every one of the "experts" on ESPN are gushing over this pick, so you should love it.

I love this pick to no end. He is a dominant player. I watched about 3 UCF games this year, and he was the best player on the field each time. This is also NOT a luxury pick. Wagner & Wright are both snuggling up to 30. We don't have much else at LB after those 2.

I was hoping the Niners would take him with the next pick. He's going to be a very good player and I believe eventually become a starter.

I think he's a tweener that will struggle, but i'm open to being proven wrong. I see a special teamer more than anything else.

Love this pick

if he had two hands and played the way he did last year, he would of being drafted in the first two rounds. He has it all, speed athleticism, football IQ, great motor and determination second to none. Only draw back, is he will be weak at intercepting balls, and picking up fumbles. We drafted a player who probably wanted nothing but being picked by the Seahawks, his brother is probably happier then shit too. We drafted a good football player

ACC defensive player of the year
Senior ball star
Blew everybody away with his measurable at the combine

That would be impressive if he had two hands

Good value in more ways than one. I expect him to become our ST Pro Bowler. Maybe our new punter too!

What’s great about this young man, he’s got a massive chip on his shoulder to prove the haters wrong.... His speed is fantastic, for the tapes I’ve watched he’s smart also... Working with a good linebacker group it will help his development... Looking forward to seeing him play...

He's rare in that he has speed but also diagnoses plays really well. Many guys with his athleticism rely on it to make plays and he doesn't.

What I think he brings to the team which is above numbers and making plays. Having someone on this team with that story will bring a level of camaraderie that would be great for everyone. I think the reason why UCF was so good was because they were looked at as under dogs and their most influential player was him.

Imagine being on the seahawks and watching this kid out work you, out hustle you, and out play you. Anytime he makes a play that whole defense will go crazy, when we play at home and shaq gets a sack quest field will ERUPT that place will go crazy for him. We got rid of the players that were a distraction and we brought him in now this team seems to have a level of togetherness and not entitled players looking to get paid and holding out

I watched 2 or 3 UCF games last year, and he stood out each time. He would have stood out with 1 hand, 2 hands, or 3. He's been without the hand since he was 4 years old, so he's obviously learned how to cope with the disadvantage and overcome it on the field. It would be a totally different ballgame if this is something that happened in some kind of accident between the season and the draft, but at this point this is "normal" for him.

Quite an off-season transformation of this team I think.....from last year's political bs to now having the feel-good story of the entire draft and the two most vocal/volatile personalities gone from the locker room.
