And looks like He won the Davey O'Brien Award, given to the nation's top quarterback, and the Maxwell Award, which goes to the top player. Earlier in the day, he won the Walter Camp Award as the nation's top player
Wonderful achievements, however, they only serve as tickets to enter the NFL. How long he stays there depends on how he performs against other trophy winners.
I really enjoyed learning a little bit more about Bama's WR A Copper. THAT GUY knows a bit about "humilty" as well. He was a deserving player up for this award. Look forward to keeping my good eye open on him as he continues to play football over the years.
The 3 reasons why RG3 has failed
1.The knee Injury
2.Immaturity
3.To be a good to great QB you need to be a student of the game which apparently he is not
The scout pointed to Drew Brees as an example of how the spread offense does not hold college QBs development back. That's like using Tom Brady as proof that you can find a HOF QB in the 6th round. Brees played shortly after George W was elected President, in the time since then there have been a ton of QBs from the spread and none of them have been worth a shit in the NFL.
Of course the spread offense does not develop NFL ready QBs. That should be obvious by now.
For starters the Skins are not going to finish low enough in the draft order. If they are stupid enough (possible) to actually try to trade up in this draft for a QB then get ready for a huge run on fans giving up their rights for season tickets (Snyder better also increase his personal security budget).
This team should just ignore any of the top QBs in this draft unless they can use it as trade down bait.
